It does not have to be a Merc or a BMW to be taken care of. Does not matter whats your ride, a clean and well kept car talks a lot about the owner and also goes a long way in its service to you. We spend so much to buy it, spend a little time and effort and money to keep it nice and clean!

Why do we need car detailing? Well simple answer is protect your investment, what protects you and your family needs some care, don't you thing so?

Does not mean you take a pro- car detailing service like ours, we strive to educate people to keep their investments in good shape.

An important tip: If you CANNOT maintain the finish, don’t waste your money on getting ANYTHING done, just follow some simple steps! Sounds weird coming from someone who is running a business…well we are as you would say- a little crazy

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Wash your car with a car shampoo and not the hair shampoo, the car does not have hair !!!
Car shampoos have special cleaning agents that do not abrade the paint surface. Daily wash is NOT needed, especially if you have a ceramic coating protection. There are waterless wash solutions also, use those and GENTLY wipe the car surface and NOT rub!

Videos that show how to - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4clPkHFbwg and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGJvQ-Kromk&t=2s

Don’t touch the car at all ! Yes the only way is this to ensure a SWIRL FREE car. However you can keep the swirls to minimal by using a car duster to remove dust daily and using a quick detailer with a good quality microfiber to wipe down. Use high GSM MF like what we sell ( 530 or above) to wipe the surface and the cloth should be CLEAN.
When washing, use a wash mitt with 2- bucket method ideally but there is NO WAY we can have a swirl FREE car. Videos showing how to use a waterless wash are plenty, example- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGJvQ-Kromk&t=2s

There are MANY videos that show plastic lighters hitting the car and scratches do not happen. These are GIMMICKS and marketing tricks, well known. A ceramic coating is NOT scratch proof, whoever claims that please ask them to do the SAME gimmick on a car after a few days and show in real life. The fact is that ceramic coating adds as a layer above the paint, taking the impact of environmental attack including chemical attack and lasts LONGER than a sealant. Swirls WILL come, but coating will resist them and prevent it from going to the clear coat plus they will come lesser than not having a coating. Please ask your detailer : how to repair the swirls post coating to know if they are really experienced or not. Most will say " sir we need to re-do the coating AGAIN!". We do not claim that unless surface is badly maintained!

Ask specific questions to whoever claims so and dig in more, we do not fool by using any marketing tricks!

  1. Ask the detailer : whats his experience and skill in detailing. There is a very long and thorough process to be done BEFORE coating is applied. The coating application is the LEAST time taking and cost wise also. What you actually pay for is the time, effort, skill and experience to prepare the vehicle and THEN application. A Ferrari with an auto driver does not remain a Ferrari!
  2. Research how many years of experience they have, how many cars they have done and feedback online from REAL customers. Do they do a COMPLETE process of preparation including hours of paint polishing and multi stages? That is essential before doing a protection with a coating
  3. Any videos they have of REAL life examples? Please dont fall for marketing gimmicks and videos that are manipulated( like lighter hitting the car, mud being thrown etc etc)
  4. Check what tools, products they use are reliable, reputed and accepted WORLD over by detailers. Franchises are usually bound by a brand, they cannot decide what is best so know that. Quality comes at a price, we charge reasonable and not unfair and if someone claims to do the SAME in half the cost, they will be doing something to compensate that , so be aware when someone says " we do the same work at far lesser"!

Once the surface is treated and protected, does not need a lot of money to spend every few months. Just investing in simple things like a good quality microfiber, shampoo, wash mitt and maybe waterless wash and 15-20 mins of PERSONAL time will go a long way to keep the vehicle in best shape.

Once in maybe 6 months a simple routing to cleanse out contamination and rejuvenate the coating/protection is enough. We have packages to support you, if you wish to avail any. We dont push and impose a lot of expenses but offer practical advise!

We Use internationally certified material what is approved for use by leading manufacturers. We have serviced all car makers and what we do is perfectly safe for any car.
Cost depends on the package you choose, we start from a simple polish, to paint protection to full treatment. Email us with your requirements for a quote.

No paint protection realistically will perform at its best for not more than 3-5 years at max UNLESS its supported at regular intervals when it can go longer, however it remains as a layer FOREVER till polished out. When the engine itself does not have that much warranty in terms of years, how can this!
Please always check the exact terms, what is covered and what is NOT. Our product does not mislead, but gives real claims.

There is LIFE of the coating and performance which need to be checked, life is forever but performance is based on maintenance. In our packages we MAINTAIN your finish and also offer interiors, a value that translates totally for the end user.( not like one time do and forever it will remain and perform)

There is a difference between LASTING and performance. Once applied- a ceramic coating will last for years but its performance degrades with usage. We distinguish between the two upfront and not claim wrong figures of its performance.
Our packages ensure we support you to make it perform(last) for as long as 5 years. The product remains for LONGER but its efficiency is what reduces.

When someone claims warranty- what is it that you expect and what is that is offered matters. We do not make any unrealistic claims and just offer a number to lure people. Warranty in reality should mean, support and the performance of the product or offering will be for the claimed duration! 9H is a marketing term used and NOT the full truth always. If someone says my coating is 9H or more, please ask for a test done on REAL life conditions. In reality we apply the coating to cars paint, so a test must have been done on CAR PAINTED panel! All of these who claim this will show you a test result done on METAL sheet which in itself has hardness close to 9H! Why not show a test on car painted panel, please ask that and not get swayed by the H level claimed. We claim that our coating ADDS 3-4 H hardness at most to the surface, we too have tests done long long back but seen that in real life on painted panel - 9H is NOT possible!

PPF - Paint Protection Film

  • These are two different products totally. While Ceramic Coating is an invisible layer which is 4-6 microns thick, PPF is a visible layer which is 160+ Microns thick. The goals are different for each product.
  • Ceramic coating aims to enhance chemical resistance and make the surface hydrophobic (repel water), the main goal of PPF is to enhance scratch resistance by being a thick layer above the paint. Ceramic coating resists only fine swirls (cloth inflicted marks) and can take minor scratches only, which will come, but will come on the coating.
  • PPF will resist far more and self-healing PPF in fact will heal the minor swirls and scratches under heat.
That said if the surface gets micro scratches, coating can be polished and applied again, while for PPF it has to removed only.
  • PPF costs far more vs ceramic coating, provided you choose the better quality ones
  • PVC PPF : Earlier PPF used to be PVC PPF, which were not easy to stretch, install and became hard over 2-3 years. That technology has become obsolete almost and no longer available.
  • TPU PPF: Over the last few years this has emerged the choice of PPF technology. Thermoplastic Polyurethane is more flexible, durable and offers a layer of self healing which makes this more resistant to swirls and scratches. It does not crack and removal should not impact the paint ideally.
  • TPH: With PVC as a base layer, TPH is a cheaper alternative to TPU but is not at the same level of quality at all. The problem is that for most of us, its very hard to distinguish between TPU and TPH and many vendors will put TPH while they claim they are doing TPU.
  • This is where you need to be careful as to who do you choose, does not matter how big and fancy a set up they have, you need to ensure the right product is applied.
  • With so many options and offers, it always becomes hard for us to choose which one to select.
  • That said a few things to check and your options can down to a limited few.
  • Ask the detailer if he/she has put the PPF on their own car and if they can show that
  • Check the detailers history and experience plus reputation. New players may not be as careful about putting their reputation at stake vs older ones who will not like to play around
  • Ask the detailer what brand do they use and do the following steps:
  • Ask the detailer for the supplier of the PPF. If the detailer refuses or is hesitant, that is a red flag.
  • Its easy to find the INDIA supplier for most branded PPF online. Call them and ask if the detailer xxx buys from them and if yes- when did they buy the last roll
  • If the detailer has bought very long back, its possible they don’t use the brand but alternatives in the name of the brand
  • Ask the detailer if they can actually share the last purchase invoice, hiding the finer details so that you are satisfied they will really use that brand and not other one.
  • Ask the detailer if they will install another good brand and NOT just ONE brand, as most brands are at par and not really too far apart in quality. If the answer is fixed to ONE, maybe there is a scope to play around with genuine vs cheaper alternatives hence that is being pushed more vs others.
  • With these steps you can always narrow down to a few detailers vs too many and then make an educated call based on your comfort level.
  • The biggest issue with PPF is that once applied on the car, its VERY HARD to make out if a genuine brand you chose was installed or a cheaper alterative ( TPH instead of TPU)
  • The best check is to probably be present when the PPF is being removed from the box and early installation done. A genuine detailer will have no objections to this!

A good quality and branded PPF should not harm the paint if it is removed under normal conditions( no dents or impact to the body of the car). It’s the cheaper alternatives which cause a problem
